By the end of our work, you’ll have practical tools to use every day and a clearer path toward a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling. Throughout the process, I provide guidance and support at a pace that feels manageable. My goal is to help you turn insight into lasting change.

Meet YOUR THERAPIST.

Hello, my name is Dr. Cristina Balesh. I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist providing tele-health services across the state of California. I earned my Doctorate in Psychology (Psy.D.) from the University of La Verne in 2016. Following my APA-Accredited internship, I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. My training spans inpatient psychiatric hospitals, outpatient mental health clinics, community clinics, a state hospital, and a correctional psychiatric center. Since 2018, I have served as a Staff Psychologist at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Outpatient Mental Health Clinic, refining my evidence-based approach to therapy.

Therapy can feel intimidating, but it doesn’t have to. I aim to create a welcoming, collaborative space focused on easing anxiety, navigating change, and helping you feel more like yourself. Together we’ll clarify what you’d like to work on and move at a pace that feels manageable and respectful of where you are right now.

If you’re curious about whether therapy is right for you, schedule a free consultation so we can see how we might work together. Your first conversation is the first step toward moving you toward your goals. Reach out today.
